Today we departed from Kamloops and wound our way down to Bellevue Washington. The original route was a bit modified due to the number of forest fires that B.C. is currently battling, Hwy 1 was closed. Instead we followed Hwy 5 and the views and roads did not disappoint. It is amazing that the last three days of riding through Canada have provided so may beautiful sights and so many nice people. We have truly enjoyed the Canadian portion of our trip and will be back in the future, lots more of Canada to experience.
This Morning Julie and I started a few hours ahead of the rest of the team so we could stop in Redmond for Julie to see Microsoft. After working for Microsoft 19 years this will be the first time Julie has seen the main campus, what a great time we had. After Microsoft, we headed to Bellevue to meet up with the gang.
After meeting up at the Weston we went to Cactus for diner, toured the mall, and went bowling. The food was good, the mall was nice and as bowlers we are very good bikers.
Early night tonight then off to Seattle in the morning to visit Pike Place Market, pay tribute to store 1 and onto the next adventure, ether Rainer and the Columbia River Basin or over to the coast.
